Days 1-3 - Poverty, Rice & High Fives

After 36 hours of travelling (including a 12 hour sleeper train journey on what I can only describe as horrific!) we finally done what we came here to do - ride our bikes! We visited some old tombs, amazing to see the beauty of these - and built so long ago! Then it was dinner time! Rice, rice, prawns, rice and some more rice! I'm sick of bloody rice now :)

We done 70km today, very hot, humid and a fair bit of climbing! All the kids were running alongside us, giving us high fives, they live in such poverty.....houses are, well......huts, yet they are all so friendly and happy! - I was taking some pictures of them, they couldn't believe it when I showed them their pictures, all laughing and screaming! Was hilarious to see!we ended the day with a 10k decent, stunning views and scenery in to Hoi An.

Just about dinner time, think it's rice tonight!

My phone screen is not turning on, so can't read txts now :(

Tan biet!
